One of the members of the car club/forum I operate is the owner of Archie’s Ice Cream. The name might sound familiar to you if you’re from Southern California.
One of the things Archie does is create stickers featuring the likenesses of some of the girls he has working for him. I was tasked with taking a photograph of the girls, and knocking it down to a black and white image. Nothing a little PhotoShop magic can’t handle.
Girls were isolated by hand using the Bezier tool (pen tool). The burn tool was also used to bring out some of the shadows or correct distortions when posterizing the images.
