During the month of March, AutoAnything decided to team up with a few of the companies we work with to pit their show car builds against each other in a ‘March Madness’ style bracket competition as a way to interact with some of our customers. I was tasked with creating all of the assets for this event, which included editing/cleaning and cropping photos sent to us from some of the vendors along with creating multiple banners for each face-off. A stock photo of a basketball court served as the starting point of the background, with lighting effects and dust/smoke added for drama. A logo was created to tie the college basketball tournament inspired competition to the automotive world. There is a style of wheel known colloquially in the auto tuning world as a ‘basketweave’, so this also served as a play on words when I used that for the bottom portion of the logo.
